Growing up around the bright floral patterns of New England, Hope Macdonald embraced a bright and bold color palette at an early age. After earning her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2012, she moved to New York City to begin her career. She's worked with large consumer brands like Kate Spade and Liz Claiborne, among others, but quickly became discouraged with the lack of transparency and quality control that comes with trend-based, mass production. A hop, skip and a lot of late nights and dirty paintbrushes later, she launched her namesake brand. Through her collection of printed leather accessories, Hope aims to merge her lifelong passion for color and prints with clean, functional design to create a totally fresh line of leather goods.
